Gary Dean Crawford, 61, Killed in Motorcycle Accident Near Highway 58 Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (February 10, 2021) – A 61-year-old man died following a traffic collision on Highway 99 Saturday, the KGET News reported.
Our sources indicated Gary Dean Crawford was riding a motorcycle traveling on SR-99. For reasons still unclear, Crawford crashed into an SUV in the area near Highway 58 in Bakersfield.
The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 2:20 p.m.

According to the news article published online, responding paramedics rendered aid to Crawford at the scene. An ambulance then transported the patient to Kern Medical for treatment. Officials confirmed Crawford sadly succumbed to his injuries and died Sunday evening.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the SUV involved in the tragic crash.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal motorcycle crash in Bakersfield happened.
