Major Injury Collision on SR-199
Gasquet, CA (June 4, 2023) – One person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 199 on June 3, Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a collision between a Toyota pickup truck and a quad vehicle took place on SR-199 in Gasquet. Our sources indicated the crash happened near the Patrick Creek Campground. Due to the force from the impact, the Toyota overturned and sustained significant damage.

Shortly after 6:25 p.m., emergency crews responded to the incident. Medical personnel found at least one person suffering in major injuries. Given that condition of the victim, an ambulance rushed them to a hospital in Sutter for further treatment and evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the road accident that happened on Highway 199 in Gasquet.
