3 Children Injured in Collision Near Gaviota Tunnel Monday
Gaviota, CA (January 17, 2022) – Several people, including three juveniles, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101.
The KSBY News published an article online reporting a solo-car crash that occurred in the northbound side of the freeway. Officials mentioned the collision took place near the Gaviota Tunnel. The make and model and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found as many as five people with injuries. Our sources indicated a helicopter airlifted one patient to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Authorities added for three children sustained moderate injuries, and a fifth victim suffered minor cuts and wounds. Pending confirmation, the names of all the victims remained undisclosed.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car crash on Highway 101 in Gaviota.
