2-Vehicle Collision on Hillman Street
Visalia, CA (April 3, 2023) – Geneva Fernandez, and Heaven Fernandez both suffered injuries following a suspected DUI car crash that occurred on Hillman Street, the Sun Gazette News reported.
Officials said 20-year-old Geneva was behind the wheel of a 1996 Dodge 1500 traveling south on Hillman. When the Dodge approached the area near Oakdale Avenue, a southbound 2016 Honda HR-V slammed into the rear of the Dodge. The force from the impact caused the pickup to overturn.
According to the article published online, the collision took place on April 2, Sunday, around 2:20 a.m.

Emergency crews later responded to the location and immediately rendered aid to all the occupants in both cars involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, paramedics determined the Dodge driver, Geneva Fernandez; and her passenger, 19-year-old Heaven Fernandez, both sustained major injuries. Medical personnel transported both victims to Kaweah Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation.
Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the Honda was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car accident that happened on Hillman Street in Visalia.
