Phillip R. Ellyson, Teenage Girl Badly Injured in Crash With Wrong-way Driver
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2018) – George F. Bravo, 28, of Los Angeles was killed when he allegedly drove the wrong way on the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway and crashed into another motorist, just north of Agua Dulce Canyon Road, said a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The man’s 2007 Lexus sedan crashed into a white, 2006 Toyota pickup truck at 4:47 p.m., leaving Phillip R. Ellyson, 51, of Canyon Country and a 17-year-old girl in his vehicle injured.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene.
Ellyson was hospitalized with major injuries and the his passenger suffered moderate injuries.
Police issued a SigAlert at 5:01 a.m. after all northbound lanes were closed and traffic was diverted off at Agua Dulce Canyon Road.
