Geovanni Cali, 22, Killed in Crash on West Avenue 26 in Lincoln Heights

hit and run pedestrian accidentLOS ANGELES, California (May 4, 2016) — A bicyclist — identified as Geovanni Cali, 22, of Los Angeles — died early Wednesday morning after being struck by a driver in front of 330f West Avenue 26, a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department stated.

The crash took place about 1:35 a.m. this morning in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood. Two bicyclists were reportedly crossing the street when one of them was struck by the white car. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene where a white car was stopped with its windshield smashed.  The LAPD’s central/bureau is heading up the investigation into the crash.
