Gerald Coillot, 66, Killed in Victorville Pedestrian Crash on Seventh Street and Victor Street
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 25, 2021) – A pedestrian accident near Seventh Street and Victor Street killed Gerald Coillot in Victorville.
The sheriff’s officials identified the 66-year-old man as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred late Monday night.
The incident happened on May 24 when Gerald Eli Coillot was standing near Seventh Street and Victor Street in Victorville. At the same time, a vehicle was going south on Seventh.
Deputies said for an unknown reason, the driver then struck Gerald Coillot. Victor Valley News wrote that the crash took place at about 11:01 p.m.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and found him lying on Seventh Street. He sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced Coillot dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the motorist involved stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man.
Officials forced Seventh Street to close between Victor Street and Desert Knolls Street for several hours following the Victorville pedestrian crash. The cause of the tragic accident is still under investigation.
