Victorville Man, 66, Killed in Car Accident on Seventh Street
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (May 25, 2021) — Gerald Eli Coillot, 66, of Victorville, died Monday night in a pedestrian accident at Seventh and Victor streets in Victorville.
The fatal collision happened at 11:01 p.m. on May 24th at the Victorville intersection, according to the Victorville Police Department.
A driver heading southbound on Seventh Street struck Gerald Eli Coillot as he stood in the roadway.
Furthermore, the Victorville Police Department and Victorville Fire Department responded to the pedestrian traffic collision.
The man was struck down on Seventh Street and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, the crash remains under investigation by the Victorville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT). Police closed down Seventh Street between Victor Street and Desert Knolls Street for several hours.
Additionally, the driver of that vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperative with the investigation into the death of Gerald Eli Coillot.
