Gerald Webb Killed in Redding Pedestrian Accident on Highway 273

Gerald Webb, 36, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 273 Tuesday

Redding, CA (April 14, 2021) – 36-year-old Gerald Webb died following a pedestrian accident on Highway 273 Tuesday morning, the KRCRTV News reported.

According to the article published online, Gerald Webb was walking his bicycle across SR-273, also known as North Market Street. For reasons still unclear, an oncoming 2010 Toyota Prius struck Gerald Webb. The horrible crash took place in the area near Caterpillar Road in Redding.

The collision resulted in life-threatening injuries victim. Shortly after 5:30 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and performed life-saving measures to the man. Sadly, Gerald Webb succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the Prius.

Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal collision in Redding.
