Major Injury Collision at Gyle Road and State Highway 99 Saturday
Gerber, CA (October 30, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a fiery traffic accident in the area of Gyle Road and State Highway 99 Saturday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck collided with a sedan at the Gerber intersection. Initial records indicated the crash possibly involved several other vehicles.
Shortly after 3:45 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one vehicle engulfed in flames.

Paramedics said they rendered aid to all parties found at the crash site; including a person lying in the middle of the roadway, and another person with injuries to their right leg. Medical personnel transported the patients to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. Additional details on the victim have not been revealed thus far.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the traffic accident at Gyle Road and State Highway 99 in Gerber happened.
