GERBER, TEHEMA COUNTY (March 21, 2016) – A multiple vehicle traffic collision was reported on Highway 99 Monday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 7:41 p.m. near Judy Lane.
Preliminary record stated that authorities responded to an emergency report requesting for aid on the highway.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located an accident that appeared to be a head-on collision.
The CHP log mentioned the existence on the site of a small sedan, a truck pickup, an SUV, a gray Ford Focus, and a certain Audi. But the officers have not yet given their final statement on the total count and identities of the involved in the mishap.
At least two vehicles were narrated to have been down on the ditch. But no further information was provided on this matter.
An ambulance was present on site to give medical aid to wounded parties, as mentioned in the CHP report.
Investigation for this case is underway.
