Major Injury Collision on Highway 25 Wednesday
Gilroy, CA (July 21, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route 25 in Gilroy Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:50 p.m., a traffic collision took place on Highway 25 near Bloomfield Avenue. The exact number of vehicles involved in the wreck remained unclear at this time.

Medical personnel arrived at crash site and rendered aid to all possible victims. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the injured party, and their age pending confirmation.
Officers requested two tow trucks to clear the disabled cars. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Gilroy.
