2-Vehicle Gilroy Crash on Highway 152
GILROY, Calif. (April 16, 2021) — A Gilroy car accident happened Friday on State Route Highway 152 also known as Hecker Pass Road.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 11:39 a.m. in front of West Side Nursery, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a Honda CRV and a GMC pickup truck collided and air bags deployed. Police did not mention what led up to the collision, nor how many people were in the two vehicles.
Major Injuries in Gilroy Car Accident on Hecker Pass Road
Paramedics responded to the scene where they assisted at least one person with major injuries and transported them to a hospital. The identification of those hurt in the crash is unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, both vehicles required tow trucks due to heavy damage.
Investigators seek to determine the cause for the Gilroy car accident.
