Minor Injury Collision at State Route 25 and Bloomfield Avenue Wednesday
Gilroy, CA (August 18, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of State Route 25 at Bloomfield Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two or more vehicles collided on SR-25, also known as Hollister Road. Primary reports indicated the wreck involved a red Nissan Sentra, and a gray or silver Nissan sedan.
Initial investigation revealed the gray car slammed into the back of the red car while driving through the Gilroy intersection. The force from the impact resulted in major rear-end damage to the red Nissan Sentra.

Shortly after 6 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to at least one victim with minor injuries. Further information on the injured party have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car crash at Hollister Road and Bloomfield Avenue happened.
