At Least 1 Killed in Auto VS Motorcycle Crash at Watsonville and Pharmer
GILROY (August 3, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol group, a deadly traffic collision took place at the intersection of Watsonville and Pharmer roads Friday evening.
The CHP logged today at 7:33 p.m. an accident involving a motorcycle and a dark gray SUV. Primary reports indicated smoke was seen at the location following the crash, but it was not immediately clear which automobile caught fire.

Shortly after the wreck, officials mentioned one person suffered fatal trauma as a result of the collision. At this time, the name of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Furthermore, CHP mentioned another victim was located at the scene. An unidentified person was reportedly found lying beside the deceased, and that man suffered a broken leg as a result of the crash.
Officials mentioned a motorist possibly involved in the incident tried to evade the area. No other details were immediately released. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident.
