2-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 152
GILROY, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2024) — A head-on Gilroy car crash happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 152 also known as Hecker Pass Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the westbound SR-152 around 12:51 p.m. on Oct. 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to a traffic accident notification and responded to find one person trapped in a black vehicle following the collision. Another vehicle was leaking gas and the cars were blocking traffic lanes.
At least one person was injured in the collision and required an ambulance, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the traffic collision.
