Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash on Highway 152
GILROY, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2021) — A Gilroy truck accident on Highway 152 happened Friday morning between a big rig truck and several other vehicles.
The collision happened just before 5 a.m. on Sept. 24th Just west of Bloomfield Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a diesel truck “took out several vehicles.” One of them was a pickup truck occupied by a 60-year-0ld man. The report stated the man suffered minor injuries and was treated by arriving paramedics. It’s unknown at this time if anyone else suffered injuries in the truck accident on Highway 152.
Police issued a SigAlert, but all traffic lanes reopened by 6:06 a.m., the report said.
Meanwhile, a couple of tow trucks responded to remove the semi-truck and pickup from the crash scene.
Investigators will determine fault for the collision.
