Priscilla Jones, 35, Man, 24, Both Killed in Highway 25 Collision
CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2024) — Priscilla Jones, 35, is one of two people who died in a head-on crash on Highway 25 early Monday, just south of Bloomfield Avenue in Gilroy.
The deadly crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 28th, according to the CHP Hollister/Gilroy dispatch.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Priscilla Jones was a Santa Clara 911 Communications Dispatcher.
The second person who died was a 24-year-old man who has not been identified.
Authorities reported the young man was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra southbound on Highway 25. For unknown reasons, he reportedly served across the double yellow line into the path of a northbound 2012 Dodge Charger driven by Priscilla Jones.
The two vehicles crashed head-on and both drivers died on scene.
The crash remains under investigation. Witnesses should contact Officer M. Orozco or A. Uribe at the Hollister-Gilroy Area CHP office at (408) 427-0700.
