Woman Killed in Crash on I-215 Freeway Identified
HIGHGROVE, Calif. (July 6, 2022) — Ginamarie Priscilla Avila, 28, of Mentone, died Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Highgrove, San Bernardino County.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the I-215 about 5:50 a.m. on July 2nd. It happened on the freeway between La Cadena Drive and the Iowa Avenue off ramp, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The woman was driving one of the three vehicles involved in the collision.
Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
It’s unknown at this time if others were hurt in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
