Child, 10, Injured in Petco Parking Lot Accident on Jamacha Road
RANCHO SAN DIEGO (November 7, 2018) – A child was injured after being struck by a car in a parking lot along Jamacha Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to NBC San Diego.
The accident took place just before 4:30 p.m.
As per the article, San Diego Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol said a 10-year-old girl was walking in a Petco parking lot when for an unknown reason she was hit by a vehicle.

Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the young victim who suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. It was not specified in the report if she was taken to the hospital for further medical aid and evaluation.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention whether or not the driver involved stopped after hitting the juvenile. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
