
Vehicle Hits Juvenile at East Tabor and Blossom Avenue
Fairfield, CA (March 23, 2023) – An 11-year-old girl suffered serious injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of East Tabor Avenue and Blossom Avenue.
According to CBS News, a Chevrolet sedan struck the juvenile walking in the crosswalk near the Grange Middle School. Earlier reports indicated the collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the girl. Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 8 a.m. and immediately attended to the injured juvenile. An ambulance rushed the girl to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Pedestrian Accident in Fairfield
Preliminary investigation revealed the driver involved in the crash showed signs of intoxication during the interview. Given that, police arrested 32-year-old Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans on suspicion of felony DUI resulting in an injury; along with child endangerment.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the major pedestrian accident that happened at East Tabor Avenue and Blossom Avenue in Fairfield.
