EL CENTRO, California (June 21, 2016) – A 2-year-old girl has been killed as a result of a hit-and-crash on Waterman Avenue at Aurora Drive near De Anza School, according to an article by Imperial Valley Press.
The accident occurred on June 18 at around 8:19 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned paramedics responded to the site and located the victim laying on the road. She was then transported to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment. The child later succumbed to sustained trauma and has been pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect remains at large. Initial investigation showed the involved vehicle may have been a car, not a bigger type of vehicle.
Officers continue to work on bringing justice to the crime.
