GLENDORA (August 26, 2016)- According to the Glendora City News, a major injury car crash occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of Baseline Road and Grand Avenue.
The collision which occurred somewhere around 9:20 a.m. involved a total of five vehicles.
The incident was triggered by a vehicles heading southbound along Grand whose driver, for reasons that are being investigated, collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on Baseline.
The southbound vehicle went up onto the median crossing the center divider. The momentum of the vehicle struck a traffic light and then a third vehicle.
Two additional vehicles were then involved after the traffic signal fell over onto both of the vehicles.
The wreck resulted in serious injuries to one motorist as that individual was found unconscious inside of their vehicle. The fire department assisted in removing the injured victim from the car who was then transported to a trauma center.
Per the Glendora City News, a second motorist taken to a trauma center by ambulance for undisclosed injuries.
At this time, the identities of any of the involved parties have not been revealed to the public.
