Bicyclist, 92, Killed in Glendora Crash at Bonnie Cove and Juanita Sunday
GLENDORA (September 18, 2018) – An elderly bicyclist was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Bonnie Cove and Juanita avenues on Sunday morning, according to San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
The accident took place on September 16 at about 8:59 a.m.
As per the article, Glendora police said a 92-year-old man was riding a bicycle when for an unknown reason he was struck near the intersection of Bonnie Cove and Juanita avenues.
The cyclist reportedly entered the intersection and was hit by an SUV.

Police affirmed that the elderly man was then transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday night. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities after the crash. Police added that there is no traffic light at the 4-way stop where the incident occurred.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
