1 Injured in Glenn County Crash at Highway 162 and County Road V
GLENN COUNTY, CA (February 6, 2023) – One was airlifted after a car crash at Highway 162 and County Road V in Glenn County.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck on February 6 at around 8 a.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle was traveling on Highway 162, approaching County Road V, in Glenn County. Its driver then made a left turn onto County Road V.
2 Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol said in the process, the car collided with another vehicle. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, west of Willows.
Medical personnel found one motorist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. An air ambulance then flew the patient to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 162 and County Road V to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Glenn County crash is still under investigation.
