Semi-Truck Hits Pickup on I-5 Freeway
GLENN COUNTY, Calif. (August 29, 2023) — A semi-truck rear-ended a pickup on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near County Road 28 in the Grapit area of Glenn County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. on August 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a driver in the semi-truck collided into the back of a Subaru pickup truck, causing major rear-end damage to the smaller vehicle.
The Glen County Sheriff’s Office responded as well as paramedics to help those involved. They located the Subaru in the center divide area of the freeway and requested a tow truck.
It’s unknown if anyone was transported to a hospital, but at least one person reported minor injuries after the accident
