Gloria Breaux Killed In Hit-and-Run Accident in Leimert Park, Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (December 26, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run collision in the Leimert Park neighborhood Monday night, according to ABC 7 and NBC Los Angeles.
The victim has been identified as 49-year-old Gloria Eaton-Breaux.
As per the reports, Los Angeles Police Department said Breaux was crossing at Crenshaw Boulevard and Coliseum Street when she was struck by a vehicle. She was in a crosswalk when she was hit at about 9:30 p.m.
Breaux was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 14-year-old son who was with her at the time was unharmed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled south on Crenshaw Boulevard. The suspect car was described as a black 1990s-model 4-door Nissan Murano with possible damage to its front end, windshield or roof.
