Vehicle Fatally Hits Man Near Santa Lucia Street
Golden Hills, CA (May 8, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 202, also known as Valley Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a body found lying on the highway in Golden Hills Sunday evening.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on State Route 202 in Golden Hills
Shortly after 9:19 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders responded to the area near Santa Lucia Street. According to the CHP dispatch, the victim sustained injuries consistent to being hit by a vehicle. Medical personnel rendered aid to the victim. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to withhold details on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident. Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly crash on State Route 202 in Golden Hills.
