1 Seriously Injured in Goleta Crash on Northbound Highway 101
GOLETA, CA (April 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash along Highway 101 near an off-ramp in Goleta.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 6:21 p.m.
A silver Toyota RAV4, a black motorcycle and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the northbound lanes of Highway 101, just south of Patterson Avenue off-ramp, in Goleta.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one person who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the victim was an occupant of a vehicle or the motorcyclist involved. Officials forced the northbound side of the highway to shut down following the Goleta crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
