GOOD HOPE, California (Thursday, October 8, 2015) – Two vehicles collided, requiring an extrication using the “jaws of life,” on Highway 74 near Betty Road, an unincorporated area in Perris. One party died in the incident, two others sustained sever to minor injuries. Both injured parties were transported to a nearby hospital by private ambulance, according to a Riverside County Fire Department incident report.
The traffic collision occurred at about 6:37 p.m. this evening. The incident required three fire engines, 14 firefighters, a truck company, a helicopter, and two ambulances.
