1 Injured in Gorman DUI Crash on Interstate 5 Near Quail Lake Road
GORMAN, CA (September 20, 2021) – At least one was injured after a DUI crash on the Interstate 5 near Quail Lake Road in Gorman.
According to an article published by The Signal, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 5 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided in the Gorman community. They crashed on the northbound Interstate 5, just south of Quail Lake Road.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene. They found one victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Medical personnel treated the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP determined that a female driver involved was under the influence when the wreck happened. They soon arrested her for felony DUI.
Authorities booked the 23-year-old Lancaster woman at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station in lieu of $100,000 bail. The Gorman DUI crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of the Interstate 5 to shut down following the collision.
