Minor Injury, Multi-Vehicle Accident I-5 Freeway, Interstate 405 Freeway
GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (April 16, 2021) — A Granada Hills car accident happened Friday on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway.
At least two vehicles collided about 4:02 a.m. on April 16th near the I-405 Freeway interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-tractor trailer truck and a grey Chevrolet Silverado were among as many as four vehicles involved in the collision, police said.

Meanwhile, multiple vehicles blocked traffic lanes and a subsequent crash nearly happened after the initial collision. Police issued a SigAlert due to so many vehicles blocking traffic lanes on the freeway.
Paramedics responded to treat at least one person with minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they were hospitalized. The CHP report did not mention further details.
Finally, investigators seek to determine the cause of the Granada Hills car accident as well as liability.
