Car accident on 405 freeway in Granada Hills California[/caption]
GRANADA HILLS, California (July 18, 2014) – Two children and an adult were in a car that went over the side of the Interstate 405 Freeway and hit a light pole near the Rinaldi Street on ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:20 p.m., CHP officers responded to the traffic accident and reported a black Honda Accord knocked over a light pole and fell about 30 feet off the freeway. Paramedics responded to the crash to assist those with minor injuries, the report said.
Tri City Light and the Department of Water and Power were notified of the damaged light pole and were on route to the scene to repair and replace it as needed.
Los Angeles Police Department personnel are heading up the routine investigation into the crash.
