1 Killed, 1 Injured in Granada Hills Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 22, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another on Sepulveda Boulevard in Granada Hills.
According to an article published by the KTLA News, the tragic accident took place late Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:16 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two cars collided for an unknown reason in the Granada Hills neighborhood. They crashed at 13470 North Sepulveda Boulevard.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Another occupant ended up pinned inside a vehicle as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel soon extricated the trapped individual from the wreckage. The patient sustained non-life-threatening injuries due to the collision.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Granada Hills crash is still under investigation.
