1 Killed, 2 Injured in Granada Hills Crash on 118 Freeway at Woodley Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 14, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on the 118 Freeway and Woodley Avenue in Granada Hills.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:10 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said at least three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Granada Hills neighborhood. They crashed on the eastbound 118 Freeway at Woodley Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital in fair condition. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 118 Freeway to shut down for a time near Woodley following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Granada Hills crash is still under investigation.
