Injury Traffic Collision on Ronald Reagan Freeway Sunday
Granada Hills, CA (September 27, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash resulted in injuries to at least one person Sunday morning on State Route 118.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the westbound side of SR-118, also known as Ronald Reagan Freeway. Initial records indicated the wreck involved a red sedan, and a silver Dodge pickup truck. Due to the force from the impact, the red Toyota Corolla overturned and landed on its roof.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 7:45 a.m.
The CHP log mentioned at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. At this time, the name of the victim and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Investigators later confirmed one driver fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Granda Hills.
