At Least 1 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Collision Near Woodley Avenue Thursday
Granada Hills, CA (November 21, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of State Route 118 and Woodley Avenue resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Our sources indicated a white sedan, possibly a BMW, struck two or more vehicles on the highway in Granada Hills. The crash took place on November 18, Thursday.
At this time, the description of the other cars involved in the wreck remained unknown.
Hit-and-Run Crash on State Route 118 in Granada Hills, November 18
The CHP logged the car at about 11:08 a.m. Earlier reports mentioned the BMW took off heading east on SR-118 following the accident. The hit-and-run suspect abandoned at least two vehicles disabled in the middle of the highway.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the victims. The assessment revealed one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Authorities continue to withhold information on the victim pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate exactly how and why the car accident on State Route 118 in Granada Hills happened.
