At Least 1 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Riverside Freeway Tuesday
Grand Terrace, CA (June 2, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Riverside Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a semi truck and two passenger vehicles collided in the northbound side of the freeway Tuesday morning. Officials described the automobiles found at the crash site as a green Ford Mustang, and a white Lexus.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, paramedics confirmed one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash.

The CHP dispatch later mentioned at least one person fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the hit-and-run car crash in Grand Terrace is underway.
