Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash with Tesla

GRAND TERRACE, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2023) — A car versus motorcycle accident happened Tuesday on the Interstate 215 Freeway at Newport Avenue in Grand Terrace.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound 215 Freeway at around 6:27 a.m. on Oct. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a white Tesla collided with the motorcyclist in the HOV lane. A black SUV in the No. 3 lane may have also been involved.

Paramedics responded to help those injured including one person with complaints of back pain after the collision.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the freeway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Grand Terrace motorcycle accident on the 215 Freeway.
