Kings County Head-on Crash on Grangeville Boulevard
KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (May 21, 2021) — A Grangeville Boulevard head-on crash happened Friday morning in Kings County.
The collision happened in westbound lanes about 8:10 a.m. on May 21s near 4th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the vehicles involved include a tan Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a small black SUV. However, the CHP report did not mention what led up to the collision at this time. Most likely, the curve in the roadway led to one of the vehicles veering into the path of the other.
Injury Car Accident on Grangeville Boulevard
Kings County Fire sent firefighters and paramedics to the crash scene. They located one person inside their vehicle with complaints of chest pain, but it’s unknown if anyone was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the crash scene.
Investigators seek to determine cause of the Grangeville Boulevard crash as they piece together witness statements and evidence.
