Granite Bay Accident Investigation
Police are piecing together evidence and will determine fault for this crash. There are certainly many unanswered questions about what led to the crash. It’s unknown if speed was a factor, distractions or if the driver did not allow enough space when passing the rider. Under California law, a driver should provide a 3-foot space between their vehicle and a bicyclist they pass on the roadway.
We hope the bicycle rider has a full recovery.
