Grant Hill, CA (October 8, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Market and 29th Street.

According to Fox5 News, a man was walking across the street in Grant Hill. Officials said a black Chevy Equinox struck the pedestrian in lane one of Market Street at the intersection of 29th Street.

The collision took place Thursday at approximately 11 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries including two broken legs. Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.

Additional details on the pedestrian accident in Grant Hill remained unclear. The San Diego Police Department Traffic Division continue to investigate at this time liability in the crash.
