3 Injured in Traffic Collision on Interstate 5 Thursday
Grapevine, CA (May 6, 2021) – Multiple people suffered injuries following a truck accident on Interstate 5 Thursday morning, the KGET News reported.
Our sources indicated the driver of a truck hauling milk fell asleep behind the wheel. As a result, the truck hauling milk drove into the center divider. The allegedly sleepy driver overcorrected, causing the truck to roll over and hit a Dodge pickup truck.
Major Auto vs. Truck Accident in Grapevine, May 6
Shortly after 3:44 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found the Dodge pinned underneath the big rig. Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to all possible victims.
According to the article published online, two occupants in the Dodge sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Authorities added the driver of the big rig also suffered wounds from the crash. The names of the injured parties and the extent of their trauma remained unknown at this time.
Further investigation on the big rig accident in Grapevine is ongoing.
