Innocent Woman Injured in Collision Near Greenwood Road
Grass Valley, CA (January 30, 2023) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Rough and Ready Highway.
The FOX40 News reported two vehicles collided near Greenwood Road on January 30, Monday evening. Preliminary investigation revealed an 18-year-old was behind the wheel of a 2008 Infinity heading west on Rough and Ready Highway. For reasons still unclear, the Infinity crossed over the opposite lanes and crashed into an eastbound Subaru.
Deadly Car Accident on Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley
Shortly after 6 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the woman driving the Subaru suffering in injuries. According to the article published online, paramedics transported the injured party to the hospital for treatment. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Authorities added the teen driver sadly died in the collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car crash that happened on Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley.
