Grass Valley Injury Car Crash on Highway 49

Grass Valley car accident Highway 49 5/12GRASS VALLEY (May 13, 2016)- According to, at least four vehicles were reported to have been in a collision Thursday afternoon on Highway 49 near Alta Sierra Drive.

The crash occurred just after 3:00 p.m. involving a big rig and several other undisclosed vehicles.

The big rig was confirmed to have jackknifed during the wreck for unknown reasons as the cause of the incident remains unclear at this time.

Several vehicles incurred major damage injuring multiple parties each who required transportation to medical centers for treatment.

No other information has been disclosed at this time.
