Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Crash on Highway 20
GRASS VALLEY, Calif. (May 9, 2023) — A major-injury Grass Valley motorcycle accident on Highway 20 happened Tuesday morning, just east of the South Ponderosa Way overpass.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 20 around 5:43 a.m. on May 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the motorcycle rider and a Honda. The rider went down after being hit from behind by the car.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured rider to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Honda with moderate to major front-end damage and the damaged motorcycle from the highway.
Investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the Grass Valley motorcycle accident on Highway 20.
