GRASS VALLEY, California (April 4, 2017) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Alta Sierra Drive and Dog Bar Road on Tuesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the incident when a motorcyclist and a vehicle collided about 6:37 p.m.
As per the report, the motorcycle was found down in the roadway following the crash. Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the rider who was seriously hurt in the wreck. The victim was then taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the dispatch described the car involved as a possible gold Toyota Camry. It was not specified if its driver stopped and cooperated with the authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
