Major Injury Collision at Golden Center Freeway and Dorsey Drive Wednesday
Grass Valley, CA (October 6, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Golden Center Freeway and Dorsey Drive.

The California Highway Patrol group reported the wreck involved a big rig and a Ford Ranger. For an unknown reason, the two vehicles collided on the freeway near the Dorsey Drive onramp.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the Ford Ranger with major front-end damage.
Paramedics said they rendered aid to at least one victim. An ambulance later arrived, and transported the patient to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name and age of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car and truck accident at Golden Center Freeway and Dorsey Drive.
