Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle on South Central Ave Saturday
GREEN MEADOWS, Ca (August 1, 2020) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on South Central Avenue Saturday morning, the On Scene TV News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle of unknown built and type struck an individual in the 8900 block of South Central Avenue near 90th Street. The collision happened around 12:30 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian lying in the northbound lanes of the roadway. Firefighter paramedics attempted to render aid but later pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers mentioned the driver involved in the tragic incident stopped after the impact and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives handling the case continue to determine precisely how and why the crash happened.
