Deceased ID’d as Eleazar Mundo, 31
GREENFIELD, California (July 8, 2016) — A man died after an ATV and a vehicle collided Friday morning at Lagomarsino Road and Central Avenue in the Mount Laguna community, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The fatal crash was reported about 6:15 a.m. on private property.
In an article by KION, CHP said 31-year-old Eleazar Garrafa Mundo was driving his Honda ATV when he pulled out from between row of grapes and went into the path of a Honda Accord.
The ATV and the Accord collided, killing Mundo. The 31-year-old man was a resident of King City.
Meanwhile, Mundo and the other driver involved, 29-year-old Salinas resident Israel Hernandez Fijar, were employed as vineyard workers at the Arroyo Loma #1 farm west of Highway 1 in Greenfield.
The investigation is ongoing.
